I noticed that in the framework for beyondar the method takePicture() is called in the cameraView class, on the Camera object. It is vary nice because when the method is called there is no fake shutter sound.
I was using the Android Camera class for a different project and every time I call takePicture on the camera object in this class it causes the camera to make the fake shutter sound. I wanted it to do the picture taking in quit, like in the beyondar framework.
How were you able to call this takePicture() method on the Camera class object and have it totally silent?
